To be honest the first month and a bit wasn't exactly what I thought it was gonna be like. My class consists of newbies and some more advanced photographs therefore since we have those people just starting out, we have to start from the very basics.
I have been taking photographs for just over a year now, I used a Nikon D60 for my first year of shooting and then just before college I upgraded to a Nikon D90. Anywho, after a year of shooting random things in beautiful Muskoka and reading books on photography, i had gained a pretty good knowledge of basic photography. And that is what is making the program seem a little dull.
I am going to be very excited for when we start to learn things that i mainly don't know because right now learning about apertures and shutter speeds is killing me! It is getting better though I can say that for sure!
Here are a couple photos from the past little while... P.s. i am not fond of any of these but I will show you anyway :)
This is of the rock that I picked up on Juno beach in Normandy and of the Vimy Ridge badge that I got when visiting the monument.
First day using the strobes in the studio, but without flash just modeling lamps.
This is one of my first Portrait assignments, never really photographed people before but i must say it was a lot of fun!
I know thats not many photos, but i am tired and thats a long post!
